When I'm not planning events and creating event decor, I can be found enjoying my new home with my honey, enjoying local events with friends and family, traveling and enjoying the great outdoors or crafting and creating.
I received my Bachelors of Science in Human Development from the University of California, Davis in 2007. I joined Hornblower Cruises and Events, San Francisco, in the fall of 2007. There, I served as the Sales Assistant to the Charter Sales Department, Public Cruise Wedding Coordinator, and Wedding Attendant. Additionally, I assisted with the coordination of the Familiarization Cruises designed to showcase new products (cruise types) to current and potential customers. I worked with the Food & Beverage team, the Entertainment team, the Captain and Crew, and the Event Coordinators.
In 2009, I joined the UC Davis School of Law as the sole Events Manager. Over my nine-year career, I grew the position from a small number of annual events and minimal interaction with the law school’s more than 50 student organizations, to annually managing 75-100 events while also having conceptualized and put into practice direct coordination with the student groups. Additionally, I organized, from start to finish, annual Commencement ceremonies with up to 1,800 guests in attendance.
Throughout the entirety of my career, I have maintained a superb network of qualified vendors. I have personal relationships with restaurants, caterers, rental companies, venues, florists, photographers, high-level security details and more.
Lastly, I also maintained outside, independent contract work planning celebratory events, Mary Kay Skincare Experience events, and weddings.
